It is April 23, and we are here near Freeport, Florida for a nine-day stay at Live Oak Landing resort, located on the Choctawhatchee River where it joins Choctawhatchee Bay, which is the large inland "sea" separating Santa Rosa Island from the mainland.

Almost 1000 miles east

We are presently in Alpine TX, enjoying a two-day stay at Lost Alaskan RV Park, where we stayed on our westbound trip last December.

We left our winter home at Aguanga today, and headed over the mountains and through Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to our first overnight stop, Dateland AZ.
