The drive from Elkmont to Cave City was uneventful. We passed right through Nashville on I-65, and the 11am traffic was heavy but moving well.

We booked into Singing Hills RV Park for two days. We have been here many times, and it is located on the road to Mammoth Cave National Park, about two miles from the interstate. The owners are very friendly, and remembered us from our last visit a year ago.

We drove the truck to the city of Bowling Green on Wednesday, a distance of 30 miles back south, and we went on a plant tour of the Corvette manufacturing plant. It was interesting, and well worth while. The Corvette is definitely a world-class sports car now, and it was fascinating to see the innovative engineering that goes into the powertrain and chassis.

We leave on Tuesday for a short drive to Scottsburg, Indiana, where we will stay for one night at a Yogi Bear resort, at the Passport America rate.
